Our Guiding Principles

See good in the world.

Real connection matters.

The power of water is truly profound.

Do more, simply.

We are welcoming.

It starts with me.

See good in the world.

We strive to see what's beautiful about life and humanity - to appreciate what we have and express our gratitude everyday. We do know hardship, injustice and suffering, and never want this to keep us from also knowing what's beautiful and good.

Real connection matters.

The world is moving fast. We're busy, always plugged in, and constantly distracted. Over time, we're losing our capacity to be at ease and appreciate the sweetness of life. Because of this, now more than ever, we need places that help us slow down and stay genuinely connected to ourselves, each other, and the beauty of the human experience. Asha is that place.

The power of water is truly profound.

In warm water, the mind and body get rest. In hot and cold contrast, the mind and body are rejuvenated and recharged. Bathhouse rituals offer physical and mental relief, healing, and the internal space to experience presence and a feeling that life is good, that everything will be or already is ok, and a deeper connection to what we love about life.

Do more simply.

We create a refuge from the hustle and bustle; an environment and experience founded in the beauty of simplicity because life is complicated enough. Fewer decisions for guests and freedom from distractions means less waste of time, energy and resources for all. Freeing everyone to focus more on what matters most.

We are welcoming.

We are warm, inclusive, and friendly. We want our team and our guests to feel respected and seen. This requires continuous education about needs, inequity, social justice, privilege, and perspectives different from our own—along with aligned action and a willingness to mess up and grow. We ask that every Asha employee and stakeholder wholeheartedly step up to this level of personal commitment.

It starts with me.

The quality of my work, what I say, how I engage - all of this matters. How I show up helps our team, every guest, and Asha's ability to do good work, fulfill our dreams and be a force of good in the world. Because of this, I am committed to self-awareness, kindness, and helpfulness. I strive to be compassionate, avoid blame, address challenges with an attitude of resolution, and show that I care. I do my job the very best I can, while continuously striving to grow personally and professionally.

Consider the lives you touch during the span of a day, a year, or a lifetime. The ripple effect is the connective tissue that ties us all together. So the question isn't, will you make a difference in the world? The question is:

what kind of difference will you make?

What Our Team Says

We value our community and customer experience, and I feel equally valued as an employee.

I know that I’ve changed people’s lives, especially those who do not understand what it means to be cared for and be accepted.

Constant communication, listening and providing support when needed have helped me to grow connections with my peers.

Managers are appreciative and supportive.  Coworkers recognize your effort when you go the extra mile for them.

Asha holds the power to create a safe space for someone to be still. To escape their daily battles or to fight them within.  To provide a quiet and quaint experience for all ages, creeds, and kinds.
